Hospitals

You will need to make your own hospital booking and you are advised to book early at all private hospitals as they have limited space. You can book in at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital only after you have reached twenty weeks. You can be a private patient in a public hospital where there is no limit on the numbers of patients. The birth centre at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital you are required to register early –again due to limited numbers – in addition to making a hospital booking.
